Outspoken radio host and disc jockey Mohan Gumatay, famously known as Mo Twister, is back in the controversial spotlight after he swore at Quezon City Councilor Precious Hipolito because of her showy billboard
DJ Mo shared a photo on Instagram of what he perceived to be an offending billboard which features Mrs. Hipolito-Castelo’s name and face plastered all over a basketball court’s backboard in a subdivision in Quezon City.
Precious Hipolito-Castelo is a former child actress, newscaster and currently a QC Council from the 2nd District.
Mo Twister was clearly not amused with this political move and voiced his frustrations.
He captioned his trending post with the following statement:
“Hoy @precioushipolito, P.I. ka!”—ballers from New Capitol Estates [NCE] in QC, probably.”
Many of the DJ’s followers seemed to agree with the sentiment, voicing their negative opinions over this gaudy show of political posturing.
One of his followers said: “Thanks, motwister. NCE players would be really happy if they remove this ASAP.”
Another follower said: “@djmotwister don’t sleep on the fact that the backboard is pink hahahaha.”
At this comment, the former TV host made it clear that the color of the backboard wasn’t the issue. The real issue for DJ Mo is that the billboard is a blatant political self-promotion by Counselor Hipolito.
Mo Twister wrote in response:
“I don’t have an issue with the color, it’s the fucking narcissism to think that she’s ruining these people’s hobby by promoting herself, it’s disgusting and @precioushipolito clearly seems to only care about her career and not the recreational well-being of the people there.”
Precious Hipolito is yet to release a statement concerning this viral post. She has, however, made her Instagram account private.
